AAAC Spring Mixer + Chapter Meeting & Elections

Join us for our Spring Mixer & Chapter Meeting as we celebrate community, share important chapter updates, and shape the future of our organization.

This mixer will serve as our May Chapter Meeting, where we will discuss key business updates, upcoming initiatives, and plans for the remainder of the year. In addition, we will hold executive board elections. All positions will be open for election: Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, and President. Candidates will be asked to offer a brief statement to the membership, sharing why they feel called to the role, along with the vision, priorities, and commitments they hope to bring to the chapter over the coming year. In addition, please submit a headshot so we may include it in the election slideshow presentation.

President: The President provides overall leadership and coordination for all chapter activities, serves as the primary liaison between the chapter and the Alumni Association, presides over meetings, appoints committee chairs, and ensures the chapter’s success and compliance with Alumni Association guidelines

President-Elect: The President-Elect supports the President by presiding in their absence, leading membership engagement efforts, and assisting with special events and activities as directed, while preparing for future leadership of the chapter

 Secretary: The Secretary manages chapter documentation, communication, and records by maintaining meeting minutes, updating membership information, coordinating logistics, handling correspondence, and overseeing vendor communication and contracts.

 Treasurer: The Treasurer oversees all chapter finances, including collecting dues, managing funds, maintaining financial records, submitting required reports, and ensuring fiscal transparency and accountability through regular reporting and dual-signature approval.

The Spring Mixer is a chance to fellowship, celebrate one another, and strengthen the bonds that make AAAC what it is. Whether you’re a long-standing member or newly engaged, your presence matters. See you there!
