2024 Homecoming Mixer "The Black Excellence Experience"

We are still buzzing from the energy of our annual Homecoming Mixer held on October 18, 2024! It was a night steeped in elegance, joy, and the incredible spirit of Black excellence. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this unforgettable evening at the SLU Alumni Center, where we celebrated not only our past but also the bright futures of our community.

A heartfelt thank you to our Homecoming Committee for your tireless efforts in organizing this exceptional event.We’d also like to extend our deepest gratitude to our vendors and volunteers.

In AAAC, we pride ourselves on supporting the next generation of Black students and fostering an environment where they can thrive academically, professionally, and personally. Our alumni are the backbone of that mission. This event was born out of a desire to give back—to those who continue to uplift our chapter, who attend our events, who serve as beacons of advancement for Black students and alumni.

We’re excited to celebrate our outstanding alumni and the prestigious awards they have received! This is just the beginning. We are committed to making the recognition and honoring of our alumni a cornerstone of our homecoming celebrations in the years to come. Together, we will continue to build a legacy of Black excellence.

As always, our gathering served a greater purpose—proceeds from the event will support our endowed scholarship for deserving African American students at Southeastern. Thank you for being part of this mission; together, we are paving the way for future leaders in our community.
